Clean malty-bread aroma. Big malty robust flavor. Obvious Munich and/or Vienna maltiness. This would be a favorite next to Ramstein. Strykzone (1477), Wood River, Illinois, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Oct 26, 2009 A clear hazelnut color with a small beige head that becomes blotchy. Fruity and grainy aroma. Interesting flavors. Wood flavor, banana, medicinal, alcohol and a nice mix of hops (especially for the style). This is a sweet beer. A malty finish. This beer is all over the place which, to me, is always a fun drinking experience. Long lasting aftertaste is spicy hops. RCL (1477), Waltham, Massachusetts, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 17, 2009 draft @ redlight redlight. Sweet malts on the nose, sweet bread, traces of spicy hops in the nose. Pours a cloudy golden color with a thick white head. Smooth malty flavor with a lot of spicy notes, finishes somewhat crisp (could have a little more bit in the end). A little bit too heavy for a maibock in my opinion but still a solid beer. dmac (1463), Toms River, New Jersey, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 10, 2009 22 oz bomber from Spirits Red Bank. Pours a hazy orange/amber with an average to slightly large bubbly mostly white head. Aroma is slightly fruity, notes of green apple and not quite ripe bananas, and lots of grainy malts with a slight touch of bubblegum as well. Thick full syrupy bodied with strong carbonation. Flavor is grainy malts, spicey...perhaps pepper and coriander, yeast. This one was just too dry and spicey when I needed something more cool and refreshing. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | May 27, 2007 22 oz bottle. Clear toasted orange with a bubbly white head. Yeasty orange toffee with fresh grass and oats. Taste conforms it’s Spring! Quenching carb cuts through a slightly oily body with a density that’s substantial but still refreshing. Apricot and unripe melon. Sours with a bit of cherry; finally lemon pith. SuIIy (1452), Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, USA
