Commercial Description:
Maibocks are a traditional Teutonic seasonal specialty. We brew ours to be hugely malty and subtly finished with a variety of continental hops, with an eye-pleasing russet brown color.

A malt drinkable treasure followed by an expected malted down bitterness, caramel and smooth. More German than if German brewed. Great drinkability. Medium mouthfeel.

Bottle 650 ml.
Appearance: clear amber lager with large, frisky, creamy-white top.3+
Aroma: sweet, fruity, berry like with slight peppery hop side.
Flavour/Palate: full bodied, slightly oily in texture. You will be welcomed by alcohol warmth right from first sip. Thick, malty body supports well its formula. Malt it self is candy sweet but with out crossing cloying point. Good bock.

Bottle. Pours a golden body with a white head. Sweet bread y candy sweetness, a hint of cherry honey and caramel. My favorite Maibock at one time.

2004 bomber. Pours a lightly golden, soft yellow with amber and orange hints. Bottle conditioned, with tons of white head. Aroma of lightly spicy yeast, ripe yellow fruits and plenty of grainy malt goodness (honey wheat bread with herbs and spices). Flavor has just the perfect balance of malt sweetness and mixes with a mild and soily/earthy hops profile that is just right. The yeast and hops together add a perfect balancing bitterness, this beer has a soft smooth body and is just supremely drinkable and good. These guys are great with balance (and that’s great with me). Maybe a bit too much sugary sweetness, to be constructive and it could stand a bit more yeast influence.

(22oz bottle) Pours a large, yellowish foamy head and an orange body. Light carbonation with small bubbles. Nose of lemon, sweet malt, slight tin and mild hops. Palate is very full and complex. Mountainous-cloud of flavour leaves you flying on a glider, very malty and creamy. Tart finish brings us in for a landing. I’ll definitely seek this out again!

Bomber from Oaktree for $4.99. Bottle conditioned with a nice thin yeast sludge on the bottom! Pours a chill-hazed dirty blonde/deep gold- lighter than ramstein. Thins whitish head and some nice cobwebby lace. Aroma is quite different than ramstein but still is very pleasant. Light tropical fruits, floral and lightly grassy hops, tea-like0 earthy and almsot a spicy saison-like aroma with some sweetish caramel malt hints. Nice thick sweet bready and caramel malt flavor- smooth, warm doughy malts as well with an underlying herbal and floral hop character. Very smooth mouthfeel and palate with a clean doughy malt finish. Really nice, and despite the high scores I was a bit hesitant to even buy this. Very good though, but still not quite on par with ramstein.

Tap @ Andy’s. Clear almost amber pour with nice thick head and cool lacing. Big malt aroma with some faint hints of citrus. Taste has a dough quality, like raw biscuits. Light bodied and very smooth. Very tasty.

Bottle (22oz) shared with HogTownHarry, tupalev & biegaman -- courtesy of HogTownHarry. Pours a clear amber-orange with a large lasting fluffy white head. Aroma is sweet and vegetal along with some mild hops. Flavour is malty with a bit of fruit and some hops in the finish. Medium bodied. Not bad for the style I guess but it doesn’t do much for me, just not my style.
