Not overally hopped, but more hops than I expected from the style. Pretty well-balanced. The body color is medium amber, with a small white head. Some citrus and honey in the flavor make it quite pleasant. Refreshing and clean. ¾ (4999), Colorado, USA

Moderately thick, full, chewy, upright and solid on the palate, with a sweet fruitiness and and a mild but noticeable twang that seems to lighten the entire experience and give the drinking session liveliness. Fresh, sticky, frothy, delicious stuff. Nowhere near a true maibock but pretty good for whatever sort of hybrid style it actually is. desurfer (1067), Pinellas Park, Florida, USA

Aroma is "bocky" (is that a word?), full of caramel and malty sweetness; very pleasant. Taste is firm yet not overpowering, caramel and malt again, with some fruitiness. Palate is very smooth, with a slighty sour and alcoholic finish. Good stuff. haddon90 (1036), Alexandria, Virginia, USA

Citrusy taste, with some light hops involved. Lighter then I expected, but it tastes really, really good. This is definitely a beer I could drink a lot of. Very good balance. rudolf (1774), Buffalo, New York, USA
