Commercial Description:
Maibocks are a traditional Teutonic seasonal specialty. We brew ours to be hugely malty and subtly finished with a variety of continental hops, with an eye-pleasing russet brown color.

On tap at Barcade: A malty, pretty sweet Maibock. Not overally hopped, but more hops than I expected from the style. Pretty well-balanced. The body color is medium amber, with a small white head. Some citrus and honey in the flavor make it quite pleasant. Refreshing and clean.

22oz bottle pours a hazy color of peaches and cantaloupe. Moderately thick, full, chewy, upright and solid on the palate, with a sweet fruitiness and and a mild but noticeable twang that seems to lighten the entire experience and give the drinking session liveliness. Fresh, sticky, frothy, delicious stuff. Nowhere near a true maibock but pretty good for whatever sort of hybrid style it actually is.

Deep mahogany/ruby body with a quickly diminishing tan head. Aroma is "bocky" (is that a word?), full of caramel and malty sweetness; very pleasant. Taste is firm yet not overpowering, caramel and malt again, with some fruitiness. Palate is very smooth, with a slighty sour and alcoholic finish. Good stuff.

Hazy orange pour with a nice, white head. Nice hops spring from the aroma. Citrusy taste, with some light hops involved. Lighter then I expected, but it tastes really, really good. This is definitely a beer I could drink a lot of. Very good balance.

Sour/sweet aroma of bitter hops. Rich sweet malt, lemon and a kick of bitterness with a nice creamy body

Draft at VT Brewers Fest - Dark amber in color with a thin off white head. Aroma is of malt/caramel with some fruitiness. Flavor is slightly sweet and quite malty with a pleasant caramel/toffee underpinning. Alcohol is apparent only in the finish. Great mouth feel. Excellent.

A malt drinkable treasure followed by an expected malted down bitterness, caramel and smooth. More German than if German brewed. Great drinkability. Medium mouthfeel.

22 oz. bottle via trade with smith4498 - Pours a slightly hazy golden-orangish color with a one finger thick off white head. Light lacing. Has a nice lightly sweetened raw malt aroma. Very nice. Flavor is a nice, lightly sweetened malt. Medium body. This is a really good beer. Thanks Jason.
