Has a big malty sweet nose and a touch of alcohol in the aroma as well. The malt has an aroma of a chocolate milkshake. Very smooth, full, chewy and alightly bitter mouthfeel. Slightly sharp alcohol tinge on the back of the throat. A wonderful Maibock, make mine a Smutty! amx1970390 (466), Southampton, Pennsylvania, USA

Mouthfeel: Medium-body. Medium carbonation. Somewhat sticky mouthfeel.
Drinkability: Works for me! A pretty good maibock. Ty5592 (1015), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 3, 2008 Bottle. Hazy cloudy gold color with medium sized fizzy head. Aroma of sweet malt, light caramel, bisquet dough, and hops. The taste was the same but rich, big, and chewy. Sweet and too thick so refreash you on a nice spring day, but enjoyable never the less.
