Hazy orange in appearance, medium carbonation, aroma of oranges, bread, and musk. Hits the mouth with a medium body, malt seemed to be very slightly toasted, some mild sweetness in the middle, finish that lingers with a slight hop note. Good stuff maynard! smith4498 (919), Miami, Florida, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 19, 2002 No hops taste and very little carbonation, but still seemed very ’chewey’. Lots of malt character. I agree with their slogan: ’Make mine a Smutty!’ vyvvy (2068), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 25, 2009 Pours clear orange with a small off-white head. The aroma has lightly toasted malt, doughiness, esters and medicinal licorice like notes. Medium / full somewhat slick body with lots of gentle carbonation. The flavor begins with lightly toasted doughy malt, spicy hops and peppery notes. the finish is very hoppy for the style with spicy and earth traits and some dirtiness and and abv heat. A nice and interesting take on the style. I’d love to try this a bit fresher. Gregory (357), Pullman, Washington, USA
