puzzl (1715), New York, New York, USA Jun 16, 2008 Tap at Blind Tier. Hot, vegetal, sucrose aroma. Light bourbon, good complexity. Super hot flavor, unbelievably hard to drink, this beer just fights against your mouth. Still retains its bock flavors with some 50% bourbon overwhelming it. mkobes (2023), New York, USA Jun 15, 2008 On tap at BT. Hazy orange yellow in color with a little white head. JoeMcPhee (3671), Jackson Heights, New York, USA Jun 14, 2008 Tap at Blind Tiger. Hazy orange-yellow beer with a white head. Aroma is quite caramelly. A very soft oaky vanilla character. Lots of bourbon, vanilla and sweet woodiness. There is also a light apricot fruitiness. It’s slightly peppery and a little bit chewy. I quite like it, although I can see how other people might not.
