| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 2, 2009 Pours a reddish brown with a tan head. Aroma of nuts, malt and biscuit. Very smooth taste that comes across with a nice malty flavor, caramel, toffee and subdued nuttiness. Very drinkable brown ale - not overly carbonated either like some of the other brown ales I have had lately. Another solid brew by Smuttynose. mistersinalin (378), St. Paul, Minnesota, USA
