| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 8, 2009 Pours nice clear amber with tan head. It has a pleasing full roasty aroma with layers of malty sweetness and nuttiness. The taste is rich with roasty malts and nuttiness that runs front to back. This is nice stuff full of robust flavors that are plenty smooth. SHIG (2046), Aviano, Italy

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 28, 2009 Looks great with a large, lasting head atop a clear amber/brown body and sticky lacing. Warming aroma of nuts, chocolate and coffee. Malty body, fairly creamy with a rolling finish. Nice and soft feel to it. Sweet cocoa along with toast and caramel. I taste a heavy use of traditional English malts. An all around solid brown, very enjoyable. BroSpud (612), , Massachusetts, USA

Do not remember too much so may need to retaste this one some day. Did remember it being good but not great. Cybercat (820), Georgia, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 22, 2009 This one comes out of the tap a cloudy, almost opaque, mahogany brown. Malty aroma has hints of spices and molasses. Rich flavor is mainly malty and has tones of cloves and molasses, as well as a hint of hops and a touch of sweetness. Silky-smooth texture leaves a tasty and pleasant finish. Sparky27 (1608), Phoenix, Arizona, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 21, 2009 Bomber courtesy of dogfish120love. Pours a hazy brown with a short lived one finger tan head. The nose is roasted nuts and malt. The taste is light cocoa, roasted malt and toasted nuts. Lighter bodied. Average. CheersMate1 (846), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Feb 21, 2009 Transparent brew. Dark brown in color. Thin head that fades away. A weak beer, as far as aroma is concerned. You get a hint of maltiness in the aroma, but it is not aromatic as I was hoping. A very strange taste. Not too hoppy, and not too malty. This beer just has a weak flavor. Not a great palate, but not horrible. I think I taste hops, but they are not very strong. Overall, this beer is just a weak one. I purchased a mix pack of this stuff at Greens, and I have to say that this is the weakest one in terms of aroma and flavor.
