Do not remember too much so may need to retaste this one some day. Did remember it being good but not great. Cybercat (826), Georgia, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Feb 22, 2009 This one comes out of the tap a cloudy, almost opaque, mahogany brown. Malty aroma has hints of spices and molasses. Rich flavor is mainly malty and has tones of cloves and molasses, as well as a hint of hops and a touch of sweetness. Silky-smooth texture leaves a tasty and pleasant finish. Sparky27 (1642), Phoenix, Arizona, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 21, 2009 Bomber courtesy of dogfish120love. Pours a hazy brown with a short lived one finger tan head. The nose is roasted nuts and malt. The taste is light cocoa, roasted malt and toasted nuts. Lighter bodied. Average. CheersMate1 (867), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Feb 21, 2009 Transparent brew. Dark brown in color. Thin head that fades away. A weak beer, as far as aroma is concerned. You get a hint of maltiness in the aroma, but it is not aromatic as I was hoping. A very strange taste. Not too hoppy, and not too malty. This beer just has a weak flavor. Not a great palate, but not horrible. I think I taste hops, but they are not very strong. Overall, this beer is just a weak one. I purchased a mix pack of this stuff at Greens, and I have to say that this is the weakest one in terms of aroma and flavor. gpekar (233), Maryland, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 21, 2009 Poured a clear dark copper with about a 1" off-white/light tan head that went down fairly quickly. There was some light malt aroma and maybe a hint of chocolate, but ingeneral the aroma was very faint. Initially there was a slightly dry & acidic crisp taste that didn’t do much from that point. The flavor was not much and nothing really developed on the finish. raradel (34), Greenville, South Carolina, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Feb 15, 2009 This brew is smooth and sweet, enjoyable for the novice but lacks something for the beer snob in all who will read this. Lacks an inviting aroma, nice appearance and mild flavor, but what is there to make me order another? Maybe I was hoping for more from the appearance, but this one came up a little flat. But thats just this hop lovers opinion. pintocb (520), Darsville, Georgia, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 14, 2009 More copper colored than brown. Good dose of roasted malts with a hop presence. Something off on the last taste in the finish. It as if they couldn’t decide if they wanted to make a nice roasty English Brown Ale or a hoppy American Brown Ale. Good, but not great beer.
