12 oz. bottle. Clear, light brown color with a thin, off white head. Aroma of caramel and some sweet malt. Mouthfeel is a bit thin and watery. Flavor is mainly malt, but there is some slight hops. Finish is nutty.

copper with thin head and light lacing. Slightly sweet malty aroma. Nothing crazy here, basic Americn amber/brown ale. Palate is average.

Hard to say much about the typical brown but this one is a bit better than typical. It’s, well, brown, there is nice lacing and small head. Aroma and palate is nutty. Nose is also malty. Caramel in the palate. Come to think of it the more I drink of this the plainer it tastes.

Draught at Publick House, Columbia SC. Brownish-red almost opaque with little head. Slight diacetyl in nose but integrated well and has nice earthiness plus asphalt. Nice quaffable mouthfeel with soft carbonation. Sweet caramelly body with some chestnut flavor. Decent and drinkable.

Pours a lovely shit brown with a small head that does not last. Aroma and flavor are the same: caramel, sweet malt, and a hint of citrus hops. A bit thin, but this is a pretty good (if unspectacular) beer overall.

Pretty run of the mill beer. Drank straight out of the bottle. Good brown ale but not the best.

12 fl oz bottle. Pours golden orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is caramel malty and light fruity hoppy. Sweet caramel and mild hoppy flavoured. Biscuit malty base flavour. Subdued bitterness and light breadish note. Medium sweet finish.

Good flavor. The first beer I’ve ever noticed the carbonation level of though. A little snappy, sparkly on the tongue. Beautiful color, reddish dark but still allows the light through. A good drink.
