Apr 25, 2007 On tap at Mile Square in Hoboken. While i used to really like Newcastle for a brown ale, OBD has taken over as my favorite brown. While i am partial to draught instead of bottle, i can say that this beer is leaps and bounds better on the tap.

Apr 23, 2007 Pours a light brown color with a light brown head. Aroma is slightly malty with a nutty flavor. Flavor is nutty, malty with a sweet finish.

Apr 23, 2007 Poured a medium brown with minimal head.Smooth mouth feel, average for a brown ale. Very light taste of chocolate, nuts and roasted malts. No bitterness, no aftertaste. R.I.P. Olive.

Apr 21, 2007 Poured a clear deep chestnut color with a medium beige head. Mildly fruity caramel malt. Some thickness to the aroma. Malty caramel sweetness with a light fruitiness and hint of chocolate. Medium bodied.

Apr 20, 2007 12 oz bottle from the variety pack. Fourth of four, and the smoothest of the lot, including the porter. Not as hoppy, not as bitter, brown amber light white head, and a nice smooth drink. But overall, just an average brown ale.

Apr 5, 2007 ON draft. Brown, with a large sized head. Aroma was of nut, malt and chocolate. Flavor was about the same. Smooth palate with a nice mouthfeel. Some hop presence. For the style, enjoyed this alot.

Apr 5, 2007 Nice brown colour, typical for the style. Good amount of head. Smells metallic and malty. Tastes the same, slightly malty and metallic. fairly pleasant but certainly nothing special.
