Crisp lager, cereal malts, some honey, decent hop flavor. I think its a solid lager, but nothing to seek out. gotohelunc (476), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA

There are some nice spicy flavors blending with hoppy bitterness to offset the usual lager sour/skunk flavor. It’s not the best lager ever, but for a style I rarely like, this one is very sessionable, has some flavor to offer, and I’ll be buying again. pamoja (57), Rochester, New York, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 10/20 | Sep 25, 2007 Clear amber. Malty nose for a lager. But upon taste the hops win the battle. Teutonic in style. I would imagine an Oktoberfest from Colonge tasting like this. sneezey (110), Hackettstown, New Jersey, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 14, 2007 Darkish almost light brown color, malty smelling and tasting with hops just a bit less than the malt. Slightly syrupy sweetness and decidedly un-lager like. Not a big lager fan so this was better than most, but didn’t want quite so much sweetness that takes away from the malt. Probably needs to cut back on the yeast and a bit more hops. mrant (330), New York, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 13, 2007 Smells strongly of yeast, very doughy, slightly hoppy. Pours a very light copper, almost straw color, slightly cloudy. Taste is very malty, well balanced. A tasty lager. WeeHeavySD (3040), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA
