ok this was a pretty decent lager. some actual hops in this, though they were light, with lots more malty falvors. definitely a vienna style. some carmel and apple with a little candi sugar flavor.

Copper Color with Sandy Head. Caramel and Vienna Malt on the Nose. Lager Body/Texture...But Enhanced by the Vienna Malts and Subtle Hops. Really a Nice Session Drinker.

Pours a pale, clear golden colour, with a nice white head that laces a bit. Smells of sweet malt and appley hops. Tastes of sweet malts and slightly bitter hops. A little to sweet and syrupy for my liking. As far a lagers go, this one os damn good. Can’t blame smuttynose for this one. Lagers in general just suck.

Amber with a nice white head. Aroma of lightly sweet malt, caramel and some bitter hops. Flavor is slightly sweet with roasted malt and caramel notes. Spicy hop finish.

Clear yellow. Grassy aroma. Thick, syrupy body with a grassy taste that is too much.

As far as the lagers go this one is great. If you like an ale, strong,,full bodied beer and you have to drink a lager this is the one that will be your go to beer.

This beer is a wonderfully simple beer. It has a very present though not strong aftertaste of a honey-sweetened tea. I loved the beer, and being a hop-head double IPA guy, liking a vienna lager was very surprising. Pick this up it is a good beer.

This is a fine beer. I originally bought it because I thought it was from Portsmouth England, home town of a very good friend. We shared the 6 and even though it was from New Hampshire, we enjoyed it not withstanding.
