Dec 17, 2006 12oz bottle, courtesy of Ty5592. Thanks, Ty! Pours a medium golden-brown; off-white head. Pleasant aroma: citrus hops, slightly tart and spicy. Light-to-medium mouthfeel: sugary, tea-like malts, citrus and floral hops. Not overly complex, and could benefit from more carbonation. Quick, citrus finish; slightly dry.

Dec 5, 2006 Pours clear copper with a sudsy beige head. The aroma is clean and rich toasted pale malt wtih hints of caramel. The beer starts smooth and medium body then heavy carbonation hits giving it a grainy feel. Flavor consists of toasted malt and some cardboard. The finish brings in some spicy hops and astringency. This is a decent lager, but I expected more from this brewery.

Nov 11, 2006 12. oz. bottle. Pours a nice gold color with a white head that fades fast. The aroma is fresh and hoppy. It has a nice rounded body and is a easy drinkable lager.

Nov 10, 2006 Golden clear body with almost no head. Scent is hoppy but not overwealmingly so, with some yeast and malt. Flavor is slightly malty and slightly hoppy. Watery body. Very little carbonation. Bottle says best by October of 06, and this one’s clearly past its prime... too bad... I’ll have to try one that’s a bit fresher.

Nov 2, 2006 bottle. Very good lager. light copper in color with nice malt aroma. This beer is a spicey, robust version of the style. The finish was crisp and dry like a pilsner. Refreshing beer.

Oct 22, 2006 Pours to a nice caramel colored body with lots of carbonation, a creamy white head, and nice lacing. It looks pretty sexy. The aroma is spicy, silage, nicely hoppy. But, it’s just not my thing. The flavor is really spicy with lots of hops. Some "burnt" vienna-style malts. The palate is really carbonated. I’d say it’s pretty bitter but not fruity bitter.

Oct 16, 2006 A nice crisp lager from the masters of ale. Pours clean and clear golden with a nice white head and slight yeast aroma. Low bitterness with a medium body - enjoyable.

Oct 4, 2006 Bottle. Almost no head with a good pour. Foggy, caramel color and banana hints in the aroma. The taste was fruity, alchoholic, sweet, and complex, with a clean finish. I really enjoy this beer; I rate very few beers higher than a 3.8.
