The aroma reminds me of wet rope. Maybe thats why wet ropes are pictured on the lable. Big orange, aswell as grass, cheese.
Somewhat langey in palete and mouth feel. A bit watery. LyndaNova (497), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA

Honey color, little to no head. The nose was slightly sweet and reminded me of Heineken a little, but I was pleased to find that this was the only resemblence. The taste was a little sour and bitter, but refreshingly crisp, mostly malt and hops. I thought it would be too much of a bite at first, but after a few minutes of sipping, it was very pleasant to return to. It’s a good lager. Terminus (1955), Las Cruces, New Mexico, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 11, 2006 bottle-thanks to the eppest for this one. clear deep orange appearance with a forathy white head. nice appearance! nose of sweet amber malts, with some lightly oxidized notes. some husky notes come through with a touch of citrus (melons). flavors are lightly grainy, malty with a touch of hops in the finish (grassy and spicy). not much hops, but enough to dry out the finish. I think this is a fine example of a vienna. Maybe i had an old bottle? even so, this was a very nice session lager. maybe i gave this beer a good rating because i had not had a beer in a while before rating. I dunno-you be the judge. xproudfoot (729), Paleolithic, Pennsylvania, USA
