yeasty brew that had more flavor than any Lager I have ever tasted.

Sep 12, 2006 Bouteille de 12 oz achetée chez Beverage Warehouse (Winooski, VT). Arôme: Odeur d’agrumes. Apparence: La couleur est blonde orangée avec une faible densité de bulle. Présence d’un mince col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût de fruité et de pins. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture aqueuse. Moyenne effervescence en bouche. Arrière goût légèrement astringent. (Rating #648)

Aug 24, 2006 Its strongest featuire has to be the head. Big, fluffy, heroic. Like well beaten eggwhiote. The aroma reminds me of wet rope. Maybe thats why wet ropes are pictured on the lable. Big orange, aswell as grass, cheese.
Somewhat langey in palete and mouth feel. A bit watery.

Aug 21, 2006 Cold 12oz bottle: Clear orange in color with very little alabaster head. Slight aroma of citrus and grass. Tastes fizzy, grainy and somewhat bitter.

Aug 17, 2006 12 oz bottle, poured into a pint glass. Honey color, little to no head. The nose was slightly sweet and reminded me of Heineken a little, but I was pleased to find that this was the only resemblence. The taste was a little sour and bitter, but refreshingly crisp, mostly malt and hops. I thought it would be too much of a bite at first, but after a few minutes of sipping, it was very pleasant to return to. It’s a good lager.

Aug 11, 2006 bottle-thanks to the eppest for this one. clear deep orange appearance with a forathy white head. nice appearance! nose of sweet amber malts, with some lightly oxidized notes. some husky notes come through with a touch of citrus (melons). flavors are lightly grainy, malty with a touch of hops in the finish (grassy and spicy). not much hops, but enough to dry out the finish. I think this is a fine example of a vienna. Maybe i had an old bottle? even so, this was a very nice session lager. maybe i gave this beer a good rating because i had not had a beer in a while before rating. I dunno-you be the judge.
