Salted pretzel aroma, some light nuttiness. Flavors are vague, some nut, some cracker/biscuit, honey. Body is full and thick for a vienna (I think), not so refreshing. Salt on finish highlights the maltiness. Not my fav style, but decent beer. DocLock (4648), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA

The aroma is a dose of saltine crackers and fruit. The flavor also possess a cracker like taste along with some dry fruit. An intersting experience for sure. Well-hopped and salty with blasts of grapefruit and black pepper. Moderately bitter. Medium to full-bodied with a dry mouthfeel and light carbonation. Lengthy, bitter finish. sfontain (506), Columbus, Ohio, USA

Aroma of honey, caramel, some vanilla, and malt (and, I think, licorice?). Dull dark gold color with a decent white head. Lacing all the way down the class. The flavor is a little bit strange, but it grows on you. Maybe little nutty up front, and pleasant bitterness in the finish. I agree with Lubiere that it does taste mildly cardboardy, though. Great lager, overall. Lubiere (4551), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 3, 2004 Hazy amber beer with a malt and biscuit aroma. Crisp malts with floral hops, but slightly cardboardy in aftertaste (oxidized). Medium body which complement the hops well. Dorwart (1829), Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA

Dissipates quickly but regenrates well upon swirling. Light malty aroma with a bit of hops thrown in for good measure. Maybe a hint of orange also. Color is a slightly cloudy light orange. Crisp and dry flavor with a bit of bitterness. Some vanilla in there also. Tart aftertaste and dry and bitter finish. The hops become more developed as the beer warms. A pretty darn good beer for the style.
