Aug 19, 2009 Orangey, oak stain color, bad label, good cap. Perfumed, floral, spice aroma. First swig was like a shot of perfume, but then once you get used to it, it’s dry and floral, with a lot of woodsy amber ale flavor. Moderate nutmeg bitterness, which dominates the finish. Thin body. Market Square Liquors.

Aug 18, 2009 Draft at Brass Tap (Wesley Chapel, FL). Pours a copper orange color with a foamy beige head. The aroma of pumpkin and spices is quite noticeable, however it doesn’t translate into the flavor. Sadly, the taste is pretty subdued. Dry finish. There are much better pumpkin ales out there.

Aug 5, 2009 A dull, carrot orange color. Impeccably cloudy. Finger of head shrinks in minutes. Looks unlike most beers; unique and seriously thick. Mildly spicy pumpkin smell. Sweet brown sugar. Some pumpkin, but also mild carrot cake; sweet malts, no hops to speak of. Flavor is sweet brown sugar, a hint of burnt caramel malts. Terrific pumpkin pie spices. A bit toasted, a bit sweet. Feels fizzy, creamy and rough. I don’t know if I could have a ton of these due to its intense sweetness, but it’s a decent one-off.

Jul 30, 2009 Yellow with a small white head. Strong cinnamon and nutmeg aroma with a hint of nutty pumpkin. Sweet and spicy flavour with a ridiculous amount of nutmeg in the aftertaste.

Jul 18, 2009 golden pour, frothy white head, decent lacing. aroma is floral, cinnamon, leafy, some pumpkin seed. Mouth feel is crisp, flavors are grassy with pumpkin notes and cinnamon notes. Not bad, middle of the road pumpkin ale

Aroma: The aroma is fairly mild, its got pumpkin spice, and malts, not much else
Appearance: The look of this one is a nice hazy golden-orange with a nice white head
Flavor: Decent, but not great, flavor of pumpkin spice malts, but also something that is just a touch off
Palate: There’s a decent amount of body on this one, and a highly carbonated mouthfeel
Overall Impression:
This is a decent pumpkin beer, I’m not sure why I had it rated so low before, but it really deserved to be higher then it was. This score is now more of an accurate depiction of my real impression of this beer.

May 24, 2009 Bottle, #477. Orange pour with white head. Fruity aroma and flavor of pumpkin (surprise!) and spice. Pretty bad flavor, not sure if I’ve ever had a good pumpkin ale.
