Bottle. Poured black with a tan head that left light lace. Aromas of milk chocolate and a hop backing. The flavor found a nice mix of chocolate, coffee, roast, and a hoppy background. Medium body. Decent!!

Bottle. Pours dark, almost black with a tan head and lots of lace. Aroma of roasted malt, lots of chocolate. Taste is also roasty chocolate, with some nice bitter notes in the finish. Mouth is nice and creamy, with light carbonation. Overall, a very nice porter.

351 mL bottle. Dark chestnut brown, almost opaque, with a ring of beige head. A dense, creamy (?!) aroma, with cocoa and earthy hops. Tonnes of cocoa in the flavour, with malty sweetness and bitter roast fighting it out for your remaining attention. Alcohol is well hidden. The body is quite full at first, but thins out at the end. The high carbonation may have something to do with this. Nice porter, though.

Bottle from Charles St. Easily the best label in beer. Nose of milk chocolate coffee, which has scarcely been made but deserves presence. Flavor is non-buttery but smooth, sharpish milk chocolate, and etherea. Well done, but not the best thing in Smutty,

12 oz. bottle. Glad to see this brewery expanding distribution into Georgia. Dark black pour with a thin, light tan head. Aroma of dark chocolate, roasted malt, and licorice. Full, thick mouthfeel. Flavor is really nice. Tons of chocolate and coffee. Finish is bitingly bitter.

Dark brown with dense tan head. Aroma is light. Hoppy and roasty flavor and a medium palate. Nothing spectacular here.
