Aroma is lightly roasted malts, with a touch of coffee and chocolate to boot. Taste is very rich, full of roasted coffee, leather, and soil notes. This is a really flavorful porter. This drinks more like a stout but with a lighter and cleaner mouthfeel. What a great porter from a brewery that has yet to dissapoint me. Can’t say enough good things about this porter, one of my best porter experiences so far. TheEpeeist (1467), Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, USA

A quick inch of tan head left a coating of lace on the glass. The scent was of chocolate, barley, malt and espresso. A big coffee taste accompany the malt presence. Robust is an excellent way to describe this porter. A rich and full mouthfeel and thick and full play on the palate.
