Oct 23, 2007 Robust is an understatement. A perfect porter rich in roasted malts which gives way to a satisfyingly bitter aftertaste that hints at chocolate and coffee.

Oct 16, 2007 Pours dark brown with a hint of lacing in the form of tan bubbles. Smells of chocolate, pepper, some coffee. Tastes of chocolate and roasted malt with some underlying bitterness. Okay, but where are the dark fruit hints that are supposed to be common to this style?

Oct 12, 2007 Black color with tan head. Roasted chocolate aroma and flavor with some coffee bean and dark fruit (cherry?) hint. Dry but certainly not hoppy. Medium to thin body.
