12oz bottle, shared with VeloVampire - pours very dark brown, almost black. Aroma is strong roasted malt and coffee., with some dark chocolate. The aroma gave away what the taste would be, but I was still surprised by how ’stout-like’ this porter was. Very strong, full bodied flavour - really nice actually. Lots of coffee, roasted, nutty malt, more chocolate, with a lighty bitter finish. This is a very fine porter, and "robust" indeed. Like I said before, it’s almost like a stout. Either way though, I could drink a lot of this brew. Flavourful and rich! Fantastic!

Bottle shared with after4ever. Is this beer a porter or a stout? Maybe a stout porter? :) Either way, it’s a tasty beer. Pours a blackish brown with a lacy tan head. Medium body. Coffee in the nose and taste with roasty nutty malt behind it, and a touch of citrus hops in there somewhere. Bitter finish. Not the refreshing, almost sessionable porter style I expected, but not bad at all!

12-oz. Thanks, 46er3498! Jet black. A little tan moussy head for a while. Highly vinous nose--kind of a surprise there. Huge roast and coffee attack that carries through to the mid-palate. High-medium body, almost oily, but not quite. Light c-hop finish. Stout-like; easily the roastiest and most bitter porter I’ve tried. Great stuff.

12oz bottle from trade, poured super dark brown with a nice brown head. The aromas were chocolate, roast, caramel and some hops. The taste was bittersweet chocolate, coffee and roasted malt with the hop profile barely standing out. A good example of the Robust Porter style.

12 oz bottle via kramer17801 (thanks!). Pours a midnight black with a small tan head. nose is mostly roasty chocolate, espresso, plum, and vanilla. mmm, this is an exquisite porter. The robust in the name fits this perfectly. Very tastey bittersweet roasted cocoa and coffee are the predomant flavors. This is REALLY ghood stuff. Gotta find some more.

Bottle. Pours a deep black body with a medium-sized creamy brown/mocha head and lacing. Killer aroma- oily hops, thick chocolate, oats, and vanilla notes. Tastes quite rich and full for the strength. Very oily and inky with plenty of bitter chocolate creaminess and roast. Finishes green and leafy. Superb complexity.
