Dark opaque black/brown with dark coffee head that started at about a 1/4 inch and faded to a ring within a minute. Roasted flavor upfront, dry over the palate. Smooth, slightly creamy/oily mouthfeel. Good lacing. Yum. biznizness (948), Mooresville, North Carolina, USA

This is right up there with Founders porter, which I just had for the first time not long ago. Probably the 2 best robust porters I’ve had. Madsnp (627), Odense C, Denmark

Yum...I want to drink this beer. The taste is great--dark roast and bitter coffee with a nice chocolate note. It’s a creamy one, too--smooth and medium-full bodied. Complex but drinkable, and my favorite of the 13 porters I tried. kumite56 (461), Cordova, Tennessee, USA
