| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Apr 12, 2009 Tap at Blind Tiger. Deep yellow-orange beer with a creamy white head. Aroma is loaded with zesty lemony hops, herbs and a touch of wheaty spice. Light banana and peach with some light orange character as well. Flavour shows a lot of fresh zesty spicy/noble hops. Lots of fresh wheaty character, lightly lemony with a bit of lingering resinous character. It is quite similar in profile to the Schneider-Brooklyner Hopfen Weisse and it is damn tasty. I’d like the body to be a bit fuller, but this is still a lovely brew. I’d love to see more of these hoppy hefeweizens... it’s a damn tasty take on the style.
