Aroma is loaded with zesty lemony hops, herbs and a touch of wheaty spice. Light banana and peach with some light orange character as well. Flavour shows a lot of fresh zesty spicy/noble hops. Lots of fresh wheaty character, lightly lemony with a bit of lingering resinous character. It is quite similar in profile to the Schneider-Brooklyner Hopfen Weisse and it is damn tasty. I’d like the body to be a bit fuller, but this is still a lovely brew. I’d love to see more of these hoppy hefeweizens... it’s a damn tasty take on the style. ruggedman (626), Portland, Maine, USA

Pours a cloudy golden color. Aroma is big time centennial hops. Flavor is very hoppy and very wheaty. This is a pretty neat little American take on a German Weisse. Worth a try! GeneralGao (3071), Iowa City, Iowa, USA

Attractive aroma of orange blossom and subdued banana. Light to medium bodied and dry with minimal bitterness. tasted of flowery hops, yeasty bread dough, and a bit of banana. There was also a hint of wet stone. Reminded me a bit of New Glarus Cracked Wheat. Yum. ATLBeerDog (280), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Feb 18, 2009 On tap at Taco Mac Metropolis - Pours a beautiful very cloudy yellow/orange with an extremely small white head. Obviously not filtered. Smells mostly of large quantities of hops with some wheat notes present in the nose. First sip is sweet, malty, and hoppy with the wheat balancing well with the hops. It is not nearly as hoppy as the aroma indicated. Mouthfeel is good bordering on the light side. Very tasty indeed. fredandboboflo (1417), East Setauket, New York, USA

Aroma of citrusy hops and some spices. It doesn’t smell like a hefe--lots of hop oils in the aroma. Flavor is hoppy initially with a wheaty finish. Clove and citrus present too. Very tasty. A very unique hoppy hefe. Well done!
