Tangy fruit at the start possibley grapefruit with a hop crispness and a somewhat malty finish. Description says ’highly hopped’. I disagree. There is a good amount of hops in this brew but not enough to say it’s ’highly hopped’. Otherwise this is a very good brew. Very good interpation of the style. Very drinkable. Will definitly have more of this. guzzler67 (1278), Hanover, Maryland, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 14, 2007 Hazy bronze appearance with a medium size, off white head and good lacing. Low keyed, spicy, piney aroma. Bitter hop taste mellows as it finishes, producing an earthy, nicely balanced, medium-bodied, well carbonated mouthfeel. A good, all around, solidly made, easy to drink pale. sinkr (219), Lusby, Maryland, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Dec 5, 2007 Pours a nice head with micro bubbles intermixed in with some larger bubbles; the head is somewhat persistent. Has a nice dark amber color and a mild, but pleasant aroma, but that’s where it stops for me b/c the taste and aftertaste just isn’t that great in my opinion. stangger (155), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

Pleasant orange nose, thick, sweet malt, some earthiness. The flavor does not quite live up to the promises made by the nose - somewhat bready with a herbal bite. Finishes quickly with a mildly dry bitter that fades rapidly. Pretty good. LooseCannon (928), Norfolk, Virginia, USA
