Commercial Description:
Copper-colored ale is medium-bodied and highly hopped. Its flavor is delightfully complex: tangy fruit at the start, with an assertive hop crispness and a long malty palate that one well-known beer writer has compared to the flavor of freshly-baked bread.

Pale Brown pour. Flavor is complex. Tangy fruit at the start possibley grapefruit with a hop crispness and a somewhat malty finish. Description says ’highly hopped’. I disagree. There is a good amount of hops in this brew but not enough to say it’s ’highly hopped’. Otherwise this is a very good brew. Very good interpation of the style. Very drinkable. Will definitly have more of this.

Hazy bronze appearance with a medium size, off white head and good lacing. Low keyed, spicy, piney aroma. Bitter hop taste mellows as it finishes, producing an earthy, nicely balanced, medium-bodied, well carbonated mouthfeel. A good, all around, solidly made, easy to drink pale.

Pours a nice head with micro bubbles intermixed in with some larger bubbles; the head is somewhat persistent. Has a nice dark amber color and a mild, but pleasant aroma, but that’s where it stops for me b/c the taste and aftertaste just isn’t that great in my opinion.

12 oz bottle. A nice ale, with a bit of hoppiness to it and a malty/citrus kick at the end.

From a bottle poured a nice amber color with a good amount of head. Nice hoppy flavor with a quick lasting aftertaste.

12 oz bottle, courtesy of LooseCannon. Murky burnt orange with a small white head. Pleasant orange nose, thick, sweet malt, some earthiness. The flavor does not quite live up to the promises made by the nose - somewhat bready with a herbal bite. Finishes quickly with a mildly dry bitter that fades rapidly. Pretty good.

12oz bottle. Pours cloudy amber in color with off white head. Aroma of malt and lite hops. Taste same as aroma with bitter finish.

12oz bottle, consumed about 20 min after Alpha King, kind of weak tasting, not much going on here, but to its credit its quite "Pale" definite tang.....then the malt comes..meh.
