Commercial Description:
Copper-colored ale is medium-bodied and highly hopped. Its flavor is delightfully complex: tangy fruit at the start, with an assertive hop crispness and a long malty palate that one well-known beer writer has compared to the flavor of freshly-baked bread.

12oz bottle, consumed about 20 min after Alpha King, kind of weak tasting, not much going on here, but to its credit its quite "Pale" definite tang.....then the malt comes..meh.

Pours a clear orange amber with a thin head. Aroma of caramel and citrus. Good bitterness, but not enough malt to balance it out. Palate seems a little thin.

This pale ale pours a light copper color with a thick, off-white head. It has a pleasant aroma comprised of a complex mixture of malt and hops. Nice flavor and malty palate. Has a slightly bitter, grassy/floral hops finish. Another fine beer from Smuttynose!

This is a solid offering for a pale ale, which as a style, has it’s limitiations in a high octane IPA world...but, it’s refreshing with spicy food and a little smoky on the palate...it tastes like a weak pussy fart compared to it’s big brother The Smuttynose Robust Porter...so what the fuck
