Gravicask at GBBF. Tea brown colour. Slickly hoppy nose. Way too o.t.t. and grassy flavour. If I wanted to munch grass I’d turn into a cow and move into a field. uits (3), Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, USA does not count | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Aug 10, 2007 Poured from bottle, very drinkable but nothing special. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Aug 4, 2007 Pours straight copper, with a little bit more carbonation than I would typically expect in a high quality beer, but that was ok. Beige colored head that looked pretty nice. Flowery and slightly hoppy aroma. SOme citrusy fruitiness in the taste, but overall we got a smooth beer with some nice hops and malts abounding. bdjames29 (272), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Went into this one expecting an American style Pale Ale - nonetheless a nice English Style Pale Ale. Dullish copper color with a lasting, huge, cream colored head. Woody, resinous and crisp with a malty backbone that makes this beer very legitimate. Nice clean, not overly hoppy finish evens this EPA out very well. A very nice Ale. | 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 30, 2007 Had this straight from a keg purchased at State Line Liquors in MD. Poured a deep copper brown with a frothy, creamy, slightly tan head. Aroma was malty and fruity, but not too citrus. Flavors were perfectly balanced; sugary and malty but also a tad citrusy and tangy. Finish is clean, with a touch of lasting bitterness. Very drinkable, great session beer.
