From a 12-oz bottle (picked up at the Coffee Grounds in Eau Claire, WI), pours a dark coppery amber with a medium off white head. Dissolves fast and leaves behind no film or lacing. Aroma of citrus hops, honey, and biscuits. Flavor is earthy at first and then finishes smooth and creamy. estoppel (1028), Buffalo, New York, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 4, 2007 bottle- copper in color, off white head, fairly lacing, smells of malt and english hops, ken goldings perhaps. alcohol detected in taste, some grassyness, but mostly malt with some bitterness in the finish. A nice option for those not in the west coast ales dominating the market, but since I am into those, I won’t pick this up again.
