For an english pale ale, this has the hops of an american pale. It has a nice different taste to it that suggests it’s not simply an american pale. A great beer!

Bottle. Orange-amber color with a slight haze. Medium head with fair lacing. Aroma is big time caramel malts and a little earthy hops. Taste brings out some spicy flavor hops. Light to medium body. Slightly bitter finish. Not setting the world ablaze, but it’s still pretty good.

Bottle: Amber in color with an off white head. Aroma, more malty than anything with some spicy hops. Flavor, caramel, molasses, up front with a dry spicy hoppiness to back it up. Nice bit of bitterness to it.

The off-white head vanishes quickly to reveal a slightly hazy red-amber body. This doesn’t look "pale"! The aroma is of light malt and moderate pine and citrus from the hops. It is a straightforward and well-balanced whiff. The flavor is simple-- well bittered from start to finish. It has a thicker body than I expected and a somewhat oily texture. This is more like an ESB that a Pale, but it’s quite good.

Pours an ok color. But this is just an ale. THe smell is above average in my opinion for an ale. The taste has a nice bite to for an ale. The mouth feel is really good foe an ale. The drinkability is good for an ale. I could really sit back and just crack these open and down them.

This is what beer should look like ... medium orange with a incredibly mesmerizing swirl of carbonation that doesn’t quit for anything rising into a thin 1/4-inch but cozy blanket of off-white puckered foam. The aroma has an almost merengue character... but with a distinct citrus quality. Creamy from the first quaff, this smooths into a nice silky brew as you go. Tangy, fruity, chewy like an orange rind, but in a mellow, restrained way. Big malty body. Good ale! (#2665, 1/27/07)

Pours copper/amber with a small off-white head. Semi-sweet doughy malt aroma, with a nice note of hop presence. Big roasted malt, doughy flavor, with a big hop bite in the finish. Medium, bitter-sweet palate. Almost a cross between an English and an American pale ale. Big malts, and big hops

12 oz bottle. Good looking beer with a clear amber color and an off white head. Aroma is of light hops and perhaps some cereal. Full mouthy feel with a nice hops malt balance in the flaovr. This is a great Pale Ale and a great beer all around.
