Commercial Description:
Copper-colored ale is medium-bodied and highly hopped. Its flavor is delightfully complex: tangy fruit at the start, with an assertive hop crispness and a long malty palate that one well-known beer writer has compared to the flavor of freshly-baked bread.

An amber pour with an off white head and a guey lacing that clings like a leach. A light hops aroma with malt bringing up the rear. A surprising hops bite on the taste that just wasn’t there in the nose. A maltiness in the flavor that gets its ass kicked by the hops. A good bitter finish. The palate is just a tad on the watery side but the carbonation is good. Another pale ale that I enjoyed and would love to drink again.

12. oz. bottle. Pours a dark gold color with a white head. It has a grassy aroma as well as grassy and dry taste.

Copper red slightly murky body with only a film of offwhite head. Smells hoppy bitter and citrus, as well as some malt. Very planty/piney. Hop flavor is really complex. Malt is there, but this is a hop foward beer. Having said that, this bottle expired October of 06, so I’m sure it’s mellowed out. Medium bodied, but little carbonation to speak of. A nice little beer.

This pale ale comes off as more of an IPA than an American Pale Ale. Aroma is of light flowery hops, and alcohol. Pours a medium amber color with a sparkling body, covered by an average frothy head. Initial flavor is signficantly bitter, mellowing by the finish to a light bitter. Oily texture on the finish with lively bubbles.

A decent brew but has a bit of a watered down taste, but not nearly as dilluted as traditional American beer.

[bottle] Sweet, hoppy aroma. Clear orange color, with a minimal head. Nice earthy malt flavors, with some slight fruit and bright, grassy hops towards the end.

I love this brewery. A Pale Ale that was deep copper with a great hop nose with even a bit of toffee tossed in. A very tasty brew that was better that a shit load of IPA’s. Very nice brew indeed.
