Commercial Description:
Copper-colored ale is medium-bodied and highly hopped. Its flavor is delightfully complex: tangy fruit at the start, with an assertive hop crispness and a long malty palate that one well-known beer writer has compared to the flavor of freshly-baked bread.

Bottle in the bar of the Back Bay Hilton Boston where we stopped Dec 05 there is a fantastic range of bottled beers in this hotel bar. A most attractive label I must say. The beer poured a deep golden ok maybe copper colour with a small head. Plenty of hops in the aroma, hops and grapefruit in the flavour dept and a nice refreshing crisp bite to this beer.

Bottle: Poured a dark brown color ale with a small bubbly off-white head with average retention. Aroma is quite hoppy with a nice floral touch. Taste is also hoppier then expected with a great presence of citrus hops. Body is about average for the style with some low carbonation.

Bottle. Copper colored, medium white head, with nice lacing. Very hoppy, soap aroma, and slightly malty. FLavor is extremely hoppy, with a diverse flavor of hops--citrus, pine, soap, and a grassy aftertaste. Would like a little more body, but this is a good beer.

Bottle. Copper clear pour witjh small head. Citrus grassy hop aroma with some amount of caramel malt. Light toasty caramel malt flavors, balanced decently with citrus hops. Moderate bitter finish. Smooth beer. Well done.

12 oz bottle. Deep golden beer, thick off-white/yellow head. Sweet citrusy hop aroma, very cascadey. Flavour is well-balanced, grapefruit and a bit of pine but it is backed by a solid toasty sweet malt flavour. A hint of caramel and toffee. Even some very faint chocolate going on. Low to moderate bitterness but decent hop flavour.

(bottle - 12 oz) Cloudy copper color with a very thin and lasting white head. Bitter aroma with a hint of malt underneath it all. Mostly bitter hops though. Taste begins with a light malty flavor that gives way to a nice and crisp hop bitterness and a nice and smooth bitter finish. The aftertaste is slightly malty with a touch of hops. A little watery, but that’s the only negative thing about this one. Very good.

Medium concentration of malts and milder levels of hops. Mild fruit mash notes. Orange/amber color with a pinky thin than head. Smoothe balanced, fruity, malts with a nice hop balance. It’s well put together, but to me lacks any oomph and suffers for it.

Bu au Mondial de la Bière 04. Un goût assé légé, pas trop complexé, un peu fruité. Pas mauvais.
