Commercial Description:
Copper-colored ale is medium-bodied and highly hopped. Its flavor is delightfully complex: tangy fruit at the start, with an assertive hop crispness and a long malty palate that one well-known beer writer has compared to the flavor of freshly-baked bread.

Bottle: Aroma of light chocolate and caramel with some flowery hops. Pours a hazy amber with a small off-white head. Light caramel up front with a moderate flowery hopped and slight roasted nut finish.

Hoppy, malty, strong bodied: this well-rounded beer is complex if you want it to be, or an easy refreshing drink if that’s what you would prefer.

12 oz bottle labeled bottled in October (I’m guessing of last year since I pulled this out of the back of my fridge). Poured a kard orange/copper color with a large sized off white head. Aromas of light caramel and hops. Tastes of pine, citrus and some light caramel.

Bottle shared with HogTownHarry, GregClow, jerc & tupalev -- courtesy of tupalev. Pours a clear copper with a spare white head. Mild earthy hops aroma. Slightly dissapointing flavour of malt, citrus hops and a touch of wood. This is just O.K.

Bottle. Aroma is hops, almost like the most characteristic pale ale. a little grungy. Brown with a minimal head. Tastes fizzy, salty, brine, barnacle. Very new england. Clam bread?

Bottle shared with HogTownHarry, blankboy, tupalev & jerc - courtesy of tupalev. Bright red-amber with a small head. Nice hop character in the aroma and flavour, pretty well balanced. Nice enough, I could drink a few without complaint, but nothing outstanding.
