Oct 15, 2005 Clear dark amber body, nice offwhite head. Modest malt aroma with just a little floral hops presence. Hops element is more apparent in the taste accompaning roasted malt. Lightly metallic and bitter aftertaste.

Oct 7, 2005 bottle. copper body with a small, creamy, off-white head. mellow citrus hop aroma with some biscuit/crystal malt in the background. Quite a bit of orange hops in this one which kind of strikes me more as an APA rather than an EPA. there is also a generous bready malt component and a hint of chocolate towards the end. finish is long and bitter. pretty good

Sep 30, 2005 Updated: Feb 21, 2006Pours amber orange with white creamy head, mostly diminishing. Aroma is floral with some caramels. Flavor is a good mix of hops and malt, not too strong either way. Finishes with a bit more hops. Texture is smooth, slightly watery. Finish short.

Sep 28, 2005 Aroma of orange hops and chocolate, some good malts too, opaque orange, a long lasting finger of custard head, some pretty lace also. Rich malt flavour, combined with a good helping of citrusy hops, with nutty and woody notes. Very well balanced, beautiful mouthfeel. Terrific!

Sep 23, 2005 Pours orangish-amber with a half-finger off-white head. Slow effervescence. Aroma of soapy hops and bready malts. Very nice malt flavor up front, with a good amount of hop bitterness at the end. Not over the top with either flavor.

Sep 21, 2005 Cloudy copper with minimal off-white head. Aroma leans toward malts, so the hop flavor is a nice surprise. The balance between the malts and hops provides sweet citrus flavor, earthy grains and a bitter aftertaste that is not overpowering. Clean and crisp with a medium body that expanded slightly toward full as the beer warmed. Enjoyable.

Sep 11, 2005 Bottle. Orange amber color with little head. Subtle hoppy nose with distinct toaste malt aroma. Flavor follows: subtle grapefruit hop sweetness and tang, with a balanced bitterness and smooth toasted malt finish. A subtle beer all around; well blended and a real delight.
