| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Mar 12, 2005 Amber body, small white head. Aroma is faint, some slight hoppiness. Flavor is nice but nothing spectacular, some citrusy hops and a bit of maltiness. I thought this was rather average. matta (1139), Tampa, Florida, USA

Also a Draft. A decent PA, one I had a couple of on this trip. The body was a golden orange. The senses brought forth some crisply tart and bready characters, with a mild American and English hop edge in the finish. Grassy, lightly citric, subdued and mild for today’s Pale Ales spectrum. Good… but forgettable.

| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Mar 1, 2005 Terrific brew which pours out a nice coppery color with a good-sized tan head which didn’t completely leave. The taste is awesome with an overall hops and malts dominance with an undercurrent of sweet fruitiness. Finish is slightly bitter but pleasant. Looking forward to drinking more! A little bit of orange in the flavor, light malt and hops. Touch of caramel. Good clean beer that goes down smooth. Hawksfan17 (717), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA

It pours a nice red color with a narrow head. The aroma is malty with some pretty good hops. Pleasantly surprising. The flavor is very good. It is bitter and malty. Quite impressive indeed. It has some citrus in it. I think this beats a lot of other Pale Ales. I like it. BeerandBlues2 (3223), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA

Caramel malt and yeast aroma with an orange hop nose. Spotty lacing as you drink. Buttery caramel and roasted malt flavor with a hop finish. Fizzy and medium-bodied palate.
