Tap at Blind Tiger. Pours a slighty chill hazed light coppery dull orange with a thin lasting head. Aroma is light citrus, earth, grass, slight metallic hints, and some light crackery and doughy malts. Flavor is a bit weak as is the overall aroma, earth, light caramel sweetness, steely husky malt character, and a clean refreshing bitterness. Easy drinking.

Light pale gold color. Clear with a white head. Some sweet fruit and hops on the aroma. Slight fruitiness on the tongue with a little bit of sweetness. A little bit of malt and hops to finish. Nice easy to drink beer.

Draft @ Max’s. Pours a hazy, honey-golden color; white head with fine-bubbled lacing. Citrus, sugar, and basic malts in the aroma; a solid hoppiness present as well; citrus and minerals. Medium mouthfeel: citrus and mineral hoppiness; lively, zesty hop character; some resins; pleasant bitterness with some toasty malts and a touch of sugar; dry overall, and solidly drinkable, if a bit one-dimensional. Lengthy finish: sugar, toasty malts, and bread.

Tap at Mugs Ale House. Pale amber gold with a thin head. Aroma is lightly malty and a little spicy. A touch of fresh herbal hoppiness as well. Reasonably crisp and light bodied, but there is a nice balance of pale malt, light spice and noble hops. A touch of light pear/berry esters character on the back. Nice lingering herbal hoppiness. It’s actually pretty solid on this night.

Sample at PCBF 08. Pours a lightly hazy brown with some golden notes and a smaller off white head. Floral sweet aroma, some rice, citrus notes and some bread. Flavor was pretty much the same with some moderate hop bitterness.

Cask at Barcade. Totally flat, with a vegetal and ricey aroma. Thin, watery, bland, and even harsh flavor. Cardboardy and overwhelmingly mediocre.
