Cask at Barcade: Hazy orange pour with a sticky lacing. The aroma has some subtle anisette notes, hints of straw and a light apricot fruitiness in the soft hop presence. Mildly carbonated and smooth bodied. The flavor is light, but elegant. Has grainy malt hints upfront, followed by mildly sweet licorice suggestions and a soft apricot hop presence. The finish has a smooth bitterness. Really easy going and tasty stuff.

On tap at Blind Tiger. Pours orange with a thick white head. Aroma of sweet fruits and light spices. Flavor of pale malts, sweet fruits, and coffeecake. Pretty good, I didn’t get any rice though. Easy drinking.7/4/7/4/14 (3.6/5)

Draft @ Max’s. Pours a hazy, honey-golden color; white head with fine-bubbled lacing. Citrus, sugar, and basic malts in the aroma; a solid hoppiness present as well; citrus and minerals. Medium mouthfeel: citrus and mineral hoppiness; lively, zesty hop character; some resins; pleasant bitterness with some toasty malts and a touch of sugar; dry overall, and solidly drinkable, if a bit one-dimensional. Lengthy finish: sugar, toasty malts, and bread.

Tap at BT last week. Aroma of lime, citrus, light hop spice, grainy malt. Flavor still quite limy with that grainy malt and maybe a hint of rice on the end? Not a standout, but enjoyable.

Light pale gold color. Clear with a white head. Some sweet fruit and hops on the aroma. Slight fruitiness on the tongue with a little bit of sweetness. A little bit of malt and hops to finish. Nice easy to drink beer.

Tap at Mugs Ale House. Pale amber gold with a thin head. Aroma is lightly malty and a little spicy. A touch of fresh herbal hoppiness as well. Reasonably crisp and light bodied, but there is a nice balance of pale malt, light spice and noble hops. A touch of light pear/berry esters character on the back. Nice lingering herbal hoppiness. It’s actually pretty solid on this night.
