JoeMcPhee (3640), Jackson Heights, New York, USA May 9, 2008 Tap at Mugs Ale House. Pale amber gold with a thin head. Aroma is lightly malty and a little spicy. A touch of fresh herbal hoppiness as well. Reasonably crisp and light bodied, but there is a nice balance of pale malt, light spice and noble hops. A touch of light pear/berry esters character on the back. Nice lingering herbal hoppiness. It’s actually pretty solid on this night.

In a pilsner glass, appearance is standard golden but head is interesting with extreme lacing. Aroma was somewhat minimal. Palate was fruity, at different times I got, apple, cherry and banana. Also was nice and creamy. Somewhat hoppy. rocbyter (592), Waterbury, Connecticut, USA Jun 15, 2008 On tap at blind tiger. Light malt aroma with very slight hop and grain hints. Pours a slighty chill hazed light coppery dull orange with a thin lasting head. Aroma is light citrus, earth, grass, slight metallic hints, and some light crackery and doughy malts. Flavor is a bit weak as is the overall aroma, earth, light caramel sweetness, steely husky malt character, and a clean refreshing bitterness. Easy drinking.
