Nov 8, 2009 This poured a clear bright yellow color with a fluffy white head. Aroma was plae malts, and light spices. Flavor was of premiuim lager, slight grassy notes and some mild spices as well.

Nov 6, 2009 Pours a light yellow/orange, off-white creamy head, mostly diminishing, good lacing. The aroma is yeasty, mold, stale same as their IPA. The flavor is refreshing, I guess it’s spice, kinda light easy to drink as there’s not a whole lot going on.

Nov 3, 2009 Bottle drink by Dec 09. Slightly hazy gold pour, very little head. Crackling carbonation. Tastes of citrus, coriander and slight tartness. Summer-ish brew that flatters itself to call it an Abbey single.

Nov 2, 2009 Bottle. Pours a nice amber with a decent head that dies fairly quickly. Aromas have a bit of spice and topsoil with a little bit of cat pee or something a little off. Flavor certainly has a nice edge of spices... fennel, sage and coriander come to mind, but I’m not exactly an encyclopedia on the subject. A little bit of a honey sweet maltiness weaves its way through the spices. This is a little watery and not very interesting. It’s not bad, just not compelling.

Oct 22, 2009 On tap at Kinsale Irish Pub, Boston MA, 2 October 2009. Clear gold colour. I wasn’t at all sure what this was supposed to be. Not much happening. Very little aroma. A little sweet fruity bubblegum and hints of spicy yeast in the flavour. Presumably Belgian style. Nothing particularly wrong, but not much to it.
