Commercial Description:
An authentic bavarian-style hefeweizen. Light and refreshing, with the hazy appearance and tangy flavor characteristic of its style.

Cloudy, peach colored with a thick off-white head which produced some nice lacing. Just not much here in terms of flavor. Somewhat weak with citrus and lemon that seemed a little watered down. Very easy to drink though, refreshing and still not a bad choice for a hot day. Always looking for a solid summer beer and sure, I’d get it again.

Bottle. from old notes. Not really a great version of the German hefe. Murky, cloudy, slight lemon & banana flavor

Poured a hazy yellow color with a small white head. Malty aroma with light banana notes and just a hint of spice. Clove and banana flavor.

Bottle (rating from August 2005 notes). A light yellow gold color with a laced white head. Flavors of banana, coriander, citrus and lemon. A nice spiced aroma. I was surprised at the quality of this brew given the color.
