Aroma of very fragrant cascade (can it be?) hops with some grass and perfume. Medium-bodied; Spicey hops up front with a good malt backbone and plenty of alcohol & effervescent hops noticeable. Aftertaste shows good character of an APA - a bit on the dutch ’light’, pilsen side, but still great to try! I sampled this 33 cL bottle purchased from BioMarkt in Amsterdam, Holland on 28-December-2007. Sammy (4049), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Dec 22, 2007 This could be a winner, it has a leafy citrus bitterness to it, but an overcarbonation that subtracts from the enjoyment. Cask would work. HenrikSoegaard (4373), Randers, Denmark

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 21, 2007 Draught, ‘t Arendsnest. Excellent lacing from the white head that covers the straight clear amber pour. Citrusy, floral, cascadey direct nose. Crystal malt base offers direct light caramel flavours. The finish is all aromatic though, like a classical APA, but holding less bitterness. Certainly fresh in this case, so it comes out with considerable brightness. The lightness of the bitterness leaves plenty of room for the malts to expand on. Good stuff. thebeertourist (2822), Oslo, Norway

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 10, 2007 Dark hazy orange with a thick head and copious lacing. Hoppy and floral aroma of C-hops (grapefruit) and nice malty sweetness. Citric, fruity, with bubblegum and pineapple. Clean, almost no noticable diactyl. Subdued hoppiness in the taste, very balanced and well-rounded. Pretty heavily carbonated, with a solid mouthfeel. Kind of lacks character, but not a bad pale ale by any means, it is good to see this kind of stuff being brewed locally!
