Jan 9, 2004 The aroma is of corriander, hops, and grass. The color is an unclear amber and it has a beutiful head. The flavor is dominated by oranges, hops, red currant, rowan berries, and grass. The end is nicely bitter.

Mar 12, 2007 (Bottle 33 cl) Pours a beautiful, clear amber golden with a creamy, off-white head leaving some laces. Fresh, lightly citrusy hop aroma. Fairly heavy carbonation. Medium body with lightly sweet caramel and then a dry, hoppy finish - not overly bitter though. Courtesy of jbrus. 040307

Nov 1, 2008 From tap at Arendsnest. Pours almost clear orange with a fully diminished white head. Nice citrusy hops aroma ad mild caramel sweetness. Fruity flavour of apples, oranges and citrusy notes wit a nice caramel malt base balancing the hops just enough. Smooth and bitter fruity finish. Nice one.

Feb 15, 2006 Draught. Very nice hop aroma. Dry hopped with some citric hop, I think. Clear, dark amber colour. Small head. Flavour is nice, but the hops get too much IMO. The hoppiness turns a bit sour after some sips. Nice carbonation. Smooth and swelling mouthfeel.

Oct 8, 2009 Bottled. A bit hazy amber colour with mediumsized creamy head. Aroma is fruity and floral hops along with some mild spices, caramel malts and some stinging sweetness. Flavour is quite much the same with the spices being more obvious. Quite fruity and grassy semi dry finish. Pleasant.

Almost clear amber color, small white head, some lace. Nose is kind of bready-yeasty with citrusy Cascade hops. A bit sweet with caramel malts, yeast, bread, spices with lingering hoppyness and a bit of alcohol in the aftertaste. This is ... ok .. it is brewed to APA-style (sweet one), but somehow it isn’t so balanced.

Mar 18, 2003 Updated: Jul 4, 2007Bottle. Strong citrusaroma. Dark orange color, small frothy head. Hopbitter, citric flavor, almost oily in its bitterness. Rather thin beer with a long citric hopbitter finish. Lovely pale ale, more Belgian than British because of its tartness.
Tap at ’t Arendsnest: flowery hops and grapefruit in the aroma. Thin. Firm hopbitter flavor with grapefruit and red berries."Cascade hops", says barman Robin. Long flowery and earthy hopbitter aftertaste with red berries. The rating is well deserved.
