Cask at brewery in Jackson Hole: Deep amber; great head. Creamy and filling texture. Wholesome malts, with notes of cocoa, caramel, bread dough and earthy yeast. Mild, herbal bitterness with a hint of lactic sourness. Surprisingly tasty and easy to quaff.

On tap at the brewpub in Jackson. Pours a brown/red color with a medium white head. The aroma is full of berries, including strawberry, and a rich caramel malt. The flavor is full of a mild nutty and toasted malt. Some light fruit in there too. Very toasty and easy to drink, also a nice full body. Very enjoyable.

Bottle. Pours brown with an average rocky, light brown head, somewhat lasting, good lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (cookie, caramel), light hops (grass), average yeast (dough) with notes of toffee. Medium bodied, creamy texture, lively carbonation and a chalky finish. Average duration, moderate sweetness, light acidity and bitterness.

Draught @ The Front Door in Boise. Pours a lightly hazy amber color with a nice frothy head. The nose is sweet and toasty with a nice fresh caramel malt and clean subtle hops. Very well balanced and flavorful. Explosive umami in the flavor, ridiculously smooth body. Nice caramelly toasty finish. Awesome mild, this merits another pint or 4.

Sampled on draught at the brewpub in Jackson, Wyoming. Pours a dark caramel amber brew with a creamy off-white head that quickly dissolves to a fine film with good lacing on glass edge. Aroma of caramel malt, citrus zest and some light milk chocolate.Taste is medium bodied, light carbonation with some caramelized multi-grain and herbal/ flowery bitterness. Finish is slightly sweet apple/pear with a moderate bitter aftertaste.
