JCW (1262), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA Oct 7, 2005 Updated: Mar 13, 2007Very middle of the road ale. Pours translucent gold with a small white head. Aroma is sweet, caramel and slightly floral. I guess the dry hopping went right over my head, because if I was describing the beer the malt is there and nice, the hops are pretty much MIA. Sweet finish. Nice session beer. ratman197 (3135), Arvada, Colorado, USA Sep 19, 2005 Bottle poured a golden amber with an offwhite head. Aromas was carmely and fruity. Palate was light bodied. Flavor was bread with a slight fruittiness and a moderately bitter finish. Pretty much an ordinary pale ale. bkelley68 (467), Lakewood, Ohio, USA Sep 18, 2005 Tap at the pub 9/16. Nice looking beer. Golden red body with a rich foamy head. Fruity malts in the aroma. Fruity and toasty flavors. Not as hoppy as I was expecting. frylock (995), Buffalo, New York, USA Jun 22, 2005 On tap at the brewpub: Golden brown color. Fruity malt aroma. Buttery, light toast, more fruit (berries) and some light hops in the finish. Quite fruity, the dry hopping didn’t add much in my opinion.
