Clear gold with a small head and thick lacing. Grassy aroma, almost dry straw. Some toastiness. Malty flavors, somewhat musky. Dry palate. Meh.

Draught at the Brewpub: Pale yellow color, thin head, decent lacing. Nose of husky hoppy 2-row. The flavor is tangy and husky, lots of crisp hops and rouch edges on the malts. Just doesn’t have the cohesion or the cleanliness of a pilsner to really work for me. Maybe they call it pilsner malt for a reason, because you’re supposed to use it to make pilsners!

Bottle poured a clear pale yellow with a short lived white head. Aromas of bread, grass, and a bit of corn. Palate was very thin and watery. Flavors of light bread, a hint of grassiness and a sweet finish. Might be decent after mowing the lawn on a 100 degree day,as long as it was ice cold.

Bottle I aquired last time I was in Jackson: Clear golden pour with a big ol’ foamy head. Clean malty aromas with quite a big blast of grassy/herbal hops. Rich with bready malts and dry, spicy hops flavors. Nice amount of carbonation, too. Nice stuff.
