Ringo (959), Loveland, Colorado, USA Feb 9, 2003 Very easy drinking strong ale. Crisp, with nice dry hopping, but has some hop on the finish as well. Session 8%er? Aubrey (2773), Denver, Colorado, USA Feb 8, 2003 Amber-apricot in color. Malty (bready) and smooth on the palate (not watery). Mild in flavor, but really well made and nicely balanced. Alcohol is hidden unbelievably well; it's barely noticeable at all. Very enjoyable to drink. Ernest (4481), Boulder, Colorado, USA Feb 7, 2003 Draught. Body is hazy dark yellow. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted bread, cookie), moderately hoppy (grapefruit, resin, pine, herbs), lightly yeasty (dough). Flavor is moderately sweet, moderately acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, moderately acidic, moderately bitter. Medium body, velvety texture, lively carbonation. Decent, nice flavor balance.
