aracauna (2357), Georgia, USA Jun 10, 2009 I really liked this one. Very malty, full of caramel malts. Very satisfying for a malt craving. puzzl (2579), New York, New York, USA Jun 1, 2009 Tap at Colter Bay Village in the Grand Tetons. Took me a while to figure out what this was as it sounded like she was telling me I was drinking "Obi-Wan". This is a brown ale? Really? Paleish pour, very grainy, light, dull. Reminded me more of Yuengling than anything else... definitely not a brown. Oh well. These guys make some other more solid brews no doubt. nuplastikk (1157), Madison, Wisconsin, USA May 25, 2009 12oz shorty bottle. Hazy translucent amber brown. Nice foamy head. Full malt and hop taste upfront, but kind of a watery finish. Soapy, with an a caramel smoothness that borders on an artificial taste. That being said, there is a nice hop balance, and some pleasant toffee notes as well. An English body with an American hop bill. I’m sure its a different creature fresh on tap, I’d give it another shot. esjaygee (1467), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA Mar 26, 2009 Bottle from Tatooine, pilfered off the Jawa’s in exchange for a new motivator for a R-2 unit. Amber with a medium rocky tan head that fades away. Aroma of pale malts, caramel and not much else, in fact there’s not much there at all. Body is thin and light tasting with mild hops, caramel and slight nuttiness. The prickliness on the tongue from the carbonation is a bit disturbing. Next stop, Mos Eisley, I hear they have a good place to buy Solo beers. ucusty (1871), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA Mar 9, 2009 Thanks to Todd for sharing via daknole! Hazy amber pour thick off white head. Slightly oxidized flavor. Sweet & dry flavor with some slight signs of oxidation daknole (2802), Plantation, Florida, USA Feb 12, 2009 Bottle. brownish/amber pour. Aroma is weak and a bit sweet. Flavor is pretty weak and pretty poor. A bit sweet, malty and not much else. scooterbub (332), Lander, Wyoming, USA Oct 15, 2008 Bottle. Pours a murky brown with a decent, creamy, tan head. Taste is of coffee, malt, caramel and chocolate. Kind of sweet with a dry and bitter finish. Very clean and easy to drink. Aroma is much the same as the taste. Refreshing and is satisfying. Not a bad brew. WeeHeavySD (2940), San Diego (Hillcrest), California, USA Sep 13, 2008 12oz from Daleliz. Pours amber with a tan head. Nose is sweet and almost dead. Taste is sweet and alright, its ok, but no great shakes.
