| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | May 30, 2007 Poured an amber color, carbonated foamy large head, ok lacing. The aroma was all amber ale, caramel, some nuts, ample resinous type hops. The flavor was light caramel, grass, resin, herbal/earthy hops, nuts, light fruity esters, very light roast notes in the aftertaste. Crisp clean finish, but it was really light and watery. Lots of flavors in common with an altbier (the German Brown ale), yet this was lacking any malt or even hop depth, although it was balanced. A watered down alt is the style I’d rank this in, certainly not a brown ale, perhaps an amber ale if you prefer that to include amber ales with Euro ingredients. Certainly not an offensive beer, not a bad lighter beer, yet it isn’t a brown ale. Alas, Wyoming is checked off the states list! OhioDad (2491), Hilliard, Ohio, USA

Aromas of toasted malts, and a touch of molasses with some slight nuts. Flavor is some toasted malts, nuts, and a touch of molasses with some slight grassy hops. Palate is somewhat on the watery side.. Probably the best organic beer I’ve tried unfortunately that doesn’t put it in great company.. kyzr (1123), Belgrade, Montana, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 29, 2007 Light amber with very thin head. Hints of hops and toasted malt on the nose. Flavor is much the same, more hoppy than anything. Seemed a little off balance with not a lot of nutty flavor. Has a medium body and clean finish. paulmetzger (152), Pocatello, Idaho, USA

| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 1/5 | 7/20 | Apr 13, 2007 bottle. light orange brown with a surprisingly lasting head. aroma is aloe vera, gum, news print. astringent, and hard to drink. the flavors build up behind my gums after each drink, andit is not a pleasent tasting group of flavors. lemony vomit and bland oatmeal with an unrefined hop taste that is like grass blended with new pennies and a touch of salt. not a pleasant one. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Mar 28, 2007 Light copper color with a smallish lid of light tan bubbles. A full scent of green hops and caramel hit the nose. Very much a "amber" scent. LIght licorice and fresh hay scents also are emitted. Green vegetable flavors abound. Somehow the greet hops mix with a raw malt flavor and just become a stew of grain and grass. Somewhat worty and sweet. This seems to lack much attenuation and depth. ratman197 (3226), Arvada, Colorado, USA

Aromas of toasted malt, bread, earthness, carmel and a faint hint of pine. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of toasted malt, carmel, light citrus and a hint of chocolate with a smooth crisp finish. waolsen (1222), Littleton, Colorado, USA
