I really liked this one. Very malty, full of caramel malts. Very satisfying for a malt craving.

Pours brown with a thin white head. Smells of caramel. Tastes nutty with some touches of sweet malt and light spices. Mouthfeel is a little on the thin side. Finish is semi sweet and earthy.

Had someone bring this back for me from Wyoming. A fairly simple amber/brown with a nice nutty flavor. I would love to be able to get this on a more regular basis, very easy drinking.

Bottle thanks to footbalm. Pours a deep mahogany color with a medium off-white head. The aroma is quite nice; sweet fruit, toasted malt and some caramel. The flavor is really smooth and good; some initial toasted malts, some strong fruity flavors, some slight caramel and yeast, and a light bitter hop finish. Very nice. The mouthfeel is fairly light.

On tap at the brewery. Amber-brown with a small, white head. Light malt and hops aroma, with a hint of sweeter fruit. Bitter malty taste. Nice lingering bitterness. Tasty brown ale.

12oz shorty bottle. Hazy translucent amber brown. Nice foamy head. Full malt and hop taste upfront, but kind of a watery finish. Soapy, with an a caramel smoothness that borders on an artificial taste. That being said, there is a nice hop balance, and some pleasant toffee notes as well. An English body with an American hop bill. I’m sure its a different creature fresh on tap, I’d give it another shot.

on tap -pours a foamy off white head and amber color. Aroma is mild medium malt-chocolate. Taste is medium malt-chocolate, roasty, faint/hint of hops (maybe). Smooth. Mild carbonation.

A gift from a western travelor. Dark amber with nice head, a little malty in the nose but not in the taste. It is a real gem: as good warm as cold but for different reasons. Spices are noted with warming, yet can be quite refreshing when super cold. A very clean enjoyable drink though a little grasy in the finish.
