On tap at brewpub. Dark, dark black with light brown head. About as dark as a stout can get. Sweet chocolate, coffee and very light cinnamon aroma. Taste has lots of bitter hops in the finish. Mostly coffee and a bit of smooth chocolate. As a coffee and stout lover, I don’t find much to not like about this beer. Well made and just a damn good stout.

Dark black body with a chocolate head--appearing identical to their American stout, but otherwise inferior to that beer. Heavy coffee-molasses roast aromais hard to coax from the glass. Roast coffee flavor with a definite sweet twinge on the dry finish.

On tap @ Cornucopia - This behind everything could have the potential to be an amazing sweet stout. Just a lisght bit of infection in this one, beyond the sweet, sweet dark chocolate and milky aroma, lies that lingering buttered popcorn flavor and aroma. Rich flavors and a complex chocolate malt backbone, sweet cocoa and just a bit of roastiness and hops in the finish.
