bitbucket (1565), Kirkland, Washington, USA Apr 12, 2008 On tap at the brewpub. (Nitro pour.) Pours opaque black with a thick and creamy head that leaves sheets of lace behind. Light coffee and chocolate nose. Medium body, light carbonation. Creamy coffee, chocolate, brown sugar and roasted nut taste. This one is an easy drinker.
Gromit (449), Port Orchard, Washington, USA Jan 29, 2008 Pours oil-black with a beautiful mocha-colored head that leaves a perfect lace down the sides of the glass. The aroma is dark fruits and coffee. Coffee is the strongest flavor with some raisin at the back of the tongue and a touch of pepper to keep things spicy. This is extremely smooth and creamy with just the right amount of hops to cleanse the palate a bit. This is a very nice stout.
